Halloween!!!

Fun Run will be Friday November 4th. Please have your child dress accordingly.

Math: Addition and subtraction of fractions with unlike denominators (LCM and GCF) TEST ON FRIDAY- Go Math lessons 5.3, 5.6, and 5.7

Reading:  Historical Fiction Book Clubs end on Monday; We begin our book club project; they will be due on FRIDAY
Book Club Project- every student will create a double historical fiction timeline. The timeline will be comparing both the events in their novel and events that occurred in history. CREATIVITY IS PART OF THE RUBRIC.

Grammar-Comparative and Superlative Adjectives

Quizlet and Spelling Test this week.

Science: Forms of energy
This week we will focus on introducing Energy (energy is never destroyed or created) and mechanical energy (potential vs kinetic) There will be a small quiz on potential vs kinetic energy on Friday.


Social Studies: We will be reviewing all week to lead up to our Revolutionary War Unit Test on November 10

*International Festival: This Friday we have an altered schedule day.  The students will be released at 12:30.  The International Festival starts at 3:00.  I hope to see you all there!

Math: Division of decimals by whole numbers (create area models and pictorial models to show the quotients of decimals and whole numbers)  
*There will be a Unit test on Multiplication and Division of Decimals on Wednesday October 26th.
