-HISD P.E. Year End Test: Tuesday, May 19
-Shrek performance Thursday, May 21
-Monday, May 25 No School
-Tuesday, May 26 Promotion at Pershing
-Wednesday, May 27 Fifth Grade Fun Day
-Thursday, May 28 UofH Bowling Trip and Afternoon Class Party
-June Summer School (If a student fails STAAR both the first and second times)

Shrek Week: Monday, May 18-22
We will walk to Rice Theater every afternoon for Shrek rehearsals this week (Mon-Thurs). We will eat lunch at school prior to leaving. Students need to arrive on Thursday night at 5:30 for the 6:30 show.

-May 12: STAAR Retest (if a student fails the first time)

-Grades due Monday, May 18 (including all redos)
-June Summer School (If a student fails STAAR both the first and second times)

Iowa Testing: We will have short amounts of testing Monday-Thursday next week. Each morning we will take 2-3 short subtests for a total of 80 minutes or less. Our afternoons will continue as normal instruction. Please ensure your child come to school having had breakfast and a good night of rest.
