DANCE
SHOW INFO:
ü We
are getting close to our 5th grade dance show, “Dancing through the Decades.”
The show will take place on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. It will
feature music from the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s. We have been discussing costumes,
and I have attached some ideas below. The attached link are just ideas to go
off of. These are not a required costume to purchase. All students must wear
pants that are comfortable to move in. They can be jeggings, jeans, jazz pants,
black sweats, or athletic bottoms that go past the knee. Most pieces can be
pulled from your child’s wardrobe they currently have.
ü All
footwear must also be comfortable to move in, nothing heavy or bulky. Students
can wear tennis shoes. For students who are in dance outside of school, they
can wear their jazz shoes.
ü Berens
(80’s):
Plaid
shirt, black, or white shirt with jeans (can be distressed) or black pants.
Can
have breathable faux leather items, studded items, fingerless gloves
Math: Input/output functions where students
will identify a Rule or Function based on either additive or multiplicative
patterns. Students will then create linear graphs based on those rules they
identify.
