So this week we will start Quizlet. Quizlet is what we use as our vocabulary practice. We use terms that we are learning in class, roots, and some new vocabulary terms each week. The test will be every Friday. I will give students time during class to practice, but I would recommend playing the quizlet games for about 10-15 minutes everyday.
Happy studying!!

so excited for this upcoming school year. I hope everyone has rested over the summer
and I can’t wait to hear all the fun stories. I am looking forward to a fun and
successful school year with each and every one of you.
Please
visit my blog once a week. (I normally post every Sunday. Important weekly
information)
Here
are a couple of reminiders:
VIPS (Volunteers in Public Schools)
All school volunteers must be registered
with HISD VIPS, which runs an annual background check. If you were cleared previously
through the VIPS Program, you only need to bring a photo ID to the reception
desk to be reactivated. If you have never been cleared through VIPS before,
please complete the VIPS registration as soon as possible. The background check can take 2-3 weeks to
complete and you must be cleared before you can volunteer in the school.

To volunteer in the classroom, sign up on
the Roberts PTO website to help with
Room Parent, Field Trip Chaperone, Holiday Parties, Room Gardener, and
